Creative Studio Intern – The Wick and Wine Experience

Location: The Berwyn Shops (Berwyn, IL)

Type: Paid Internship | $17/hour, up to 25 hours per week

Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, June through August (potential to extend)

Must be able to commute to the Berwyn Shops

About Us:

The Wick and Wine Experience is a creative, wellness-centered candle-making studio and retail space where scent meets soul. We create unforgettable moments through hands-on candle workshops and custom product offerings. We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Studio Intern to support both our social media and in-studio workshop operations.

This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in marketing, customer engagement, event logistics, and content creation — all within a growing, Black woman-owned brand rooted in mindfulness and community.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Social Media + Marketing Support

Capture behind-the-scenes content at workshops and in the studio

Create reels, Instagram posts/stories, and Canva graphics

Research trends, hashtags, and sound ideas for IG/TikTok

Help schedule and post content using apps like Later or Meta Suite

Engage with our online community (respond to DMs, comments, etc.)


Workshop + Studio Support

Assist with prepping materials for candle-making sessions

Greet guests, check them in, and support them during workshops

Help with light instruction, clean-up, and resetting the space

Restock inventory, label products, and maintain a welcoming environment

Ideal Candidate:

You’re personable, creative, and detail-oriented

Comfortable with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, and basic editing tools

Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

Thrive in a collaborative, community-focused space

Available Thursday–Sunday and able to reliably commute to Berwyn
